Eligibility Criteria for Indian Students at Tashkent Medical Academy (TMA)

  • Academic Qualification :  The student must have completed 10+2 (Higher Secondary) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) from a recognized board. A minimum of 50% marks in PCB is required for General Category students. A minimum of 40% marks in PCB is required for SC/ST/OBC category students.
  •  NEET Qualification :As per the National Medical Commission (NMC) guidelines, Indian students must have qualified NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) to apply for MBBS abroad. There is no entrance exam required at TMA apart from NEET qualification
  • Age Requirement :The student must be at least 17 years old as of 31st December of the admission year. There is no upper age limit, but students should meet the NMC guidelines for FMGE/NExT eligibility.
  • Language Requirement :English proficiency is required, but no mandatory IELTS/TOEFL exam is needed. The MBBS program is taught entirely in English, making it convenient for Indian students.List item

Admission Process for MBBS in Tashkent Medical Academy (TMA), Uzbakistan 2025

The admission process for MBBS in Uzbekistan 2025 is  to the international students, especially from India.  The process goes below:

  • Application Submission: The student should send his/her application forms to TMA, Uzbekistan. The application usually contains personal information, academic qualifications, and a recent passport-sized photograph.
  • Eligibility Criteria: Candidates need to have a 12th standard pass in the science stream, including 50% in Physics, Biology, and Chemistry.
  • Entrance exam:  Before Providing Admission letter university conduct entrance exams. Entrance exams include the subjects of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
  • Admission: After qualifying entrance exam student get the admission letter from university with the 1st semester payment deadline
  • Payment of Fees: The 1st Semester tuition fees must be paid in university as per the deadline according to the fee structure as determined by the university. 
  • Telex & Visa: “Upon payment of the student’s fee, the telex confirmation will be issued by the ministry. The student can then proceed to obtain their visa from the Uzbekistan embassy in India.”
  • Departure: After obtaining the visa, flight tickets will be arranged for travel to Uzbekistan. Students will depart in batches.
  • Arrival and Orientation: Opon arrival in Uzbekistan, students will attend an orientation session followed by a campus and hostel tour to help them familiarize themselves with their new environment.
